Show and Promotion

I participated in a local Arts & Crafts Extravaganza last weekend so trying to catch up with things here. I had literally 2 days to get ready for it and was scrambling to get things together. I didn't have much for display either - I need to find a more professional looking rack, maybe I'll just spray paint the yellow one gloss black for now. If you have any display ideas or links to suppliers, please do tell!

My sweet & lovely friend Vanessa shared the table with me, although she ended up not being able to make it. I had a lot of fun meeting & chatting up people about my work and art in general with a few kindred spirits. The turnout was fair considering the size and location and my work was well-received (especially my Cowgirl piece, a few more like her are in the works)

Ok, time for some shameless promotion - my Etsy shop has now been updated. I'm working on getting more fine art prints in there as well as some digital photography. I've been having much (ok too much) fun with my camera and Adobe Photoshop lately. I actually had some visitors at my table who though they were 'paintings' :>

So much to do and learn right now, but I'm enjoying it immensely. Have a great week y'all!

I helped a friend with her display table not that long ago... we ended up using some larger baskets (some with lids) to prop up paintings inside... it looked great, something that we came up with in a very short amount of time.

I, too, have been feeling like there is so much for me to take in, to learn, right now. I've been "grounded" for about 4-6 after ankle surgery so I'm off work, living on the couch. I just signed up for a PS online class as well as starting a self-tutorial book... anyway, my point being that it's a great spot to be in when you're open to so many new things in life. If you're interested in the info on the online class for Photoshop let me know, it's less then $100 and runs 6 wks believe it or not!

It looks nice!! I don't miss doing shows...so much set up work.

In my studio I put my prints in those racks that fold out but I found small, tabletop decorative ones. I was lucky! I also put some in linen lined baskets found at import stores.

I love when people think my digital work are paintings - glad to see you do too!

been thinking of you - are you going to the convenzione this year again?

Your table looks great, off to check your etsy shop out!
