Mariana Musa recently awarded me with a "Thinking Blogger" award, thank you Ana! She is an immensely talented illustrator who constantly amazes me with her delicate coloured pencil work. She is always an inspiration and wonderfully supportive of my work as well as many other artists who blog (what a wonderful way to connect with other creative souls around the world I might add!). I'm so very thankful for artists like her who are making my artistic journey such a positive & enriching experience!
I now need to pass this award on to 5 other bloggers who have blogs (or artwork) that makes me think, although the ones I've thought of have already been awarded and went on to award others I considered so ....... it may take me a few days to post my picks :)

Hello Laura! I just saw you stopped by my blog. Incredibly flattered to have such a talented artist compliment my work. Where abouts in the midwest do you live? We are really starting to like the idea of living near the mountains...maybe Colorado...

Lindsay - I live in MI and my family is not into winter sports/activities so we are all in agreement to move to a warmer (but drier - no humidity please!) climate. There's so much to consider though with moving besides weather so we're doing a lot of research! And yes Colorado sounds lovely...
I live in MI too! Like you I'm no snow bunny, although a fresh blanket of snow is beautiful...

Sorry I chose some of the folks you had thought of to pass the award on to. I do hope you come up with some others; there certainly are lots of talented folks out there, as we know from all the great artwork found on Flickr!

Thanks Kathleen and well deserved to you too!! And no need to apologize, there are a LOT of great artists out there, Flickr and elsewhere. Although some @ Flickr don't blog, they need too!
It's such a huge arena out there and I feel so small in it. Every day I'm amazed at how we connect, inspire and support each other as we grow :D
