Illustration Fri. - 'sneaky'

Nice to be contributing to IF, I've really been trying to get something posted over there but time & inspiration haven't been on my side the last month or so. And yes this is a bit of a stretch for 'sneaky' as it's geared more to a technique but thought I'd share it anyway :>

I've been playing around with scanning my pencil & ink sketches and painted surfaces then layering them digitally, adding or subracting color in certain areas, etc . It's a 'sneaky'/clever way to experiment without committing to anything permanent and the instant art gratification is definitely a plus when time is limited. I also love the contemporary, messy look of it too....

Have a great weekend and while I'm at it, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving if you're celebrating it - and as always, be well.

This is a lovely piece! I love the sensitive drawing and the luminous background.

I like her face a lot. She looks like she could be thinking up something sneaky all right. :)

Love how you did the color on this one. It goes great with the line work.
